Amyaa ngo celebrates international women’s day at Roing head office.The programme was attended by SHG and Anganwadi workers of Lower dibang valley.
Speaking on the theme ‘Choose to challenge” Rk Paul Secretary of AMYAA talked about how far womens have come and what progress they have made for gender equality worldwide.
Adding that there are still much to be done to fully empower women in the society, He appeal the women and men folk to continue to promote gender equality as it can be achieved only as a team.
The programme continued with a short display of motivational video clip on women’s followed by cake cutting ceremony. To bring back the youthful smiles on the women’s faces, games were played bringing laughter and joy to the crowd. The programme concluded with a lunch prepared by the participants.
