The program started by 10:30 am and it was chaired by Shri. Sibo Passing Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Dambuk, Shri. AP Singha Lead District Manager (LDM), Shri Shankar Jaishi Manager of Apex Bank Dambuk, RK Paul Chawang Secretary AMYAA NGO, Self Help Groups (SHGs), Gaon Bura, Gram Chairperson, Farmers and team from Bank, AMYAA and CHILDLINE Roing.
The program started with a welcoming note by LDM, who have highlighted the importance of the financial literacy and discussed the various governmental schemes, insurances and the loans that one can accessed in a Bank. The LDM also shared the different available schemes for farmers which are beneficial for them and the procedure to acquire such schemes. Followed by the welcoming note, the next was an address note by ADC, Dambuk. He has excellently spoken about the financial literacy and the banking process or the insurances that one must have. It was cleared to the participants about the camp and various procedures to acquire the schemes.
The program had a speech by secretary of Amyaa, who have spoke about the working of Amyaa and its various interventions in the society. There was a success story by a member of Midum-SHGs, which is located in Bomjir and deals with local/indigenous products and handicrafts materials. This SHG was established in the year 2013 with the help of Secretary of Amyaa. So far now, it is working effectively with a number of 10 members.
The program was led by a panel of discussion which was open to all. Positively, there were 4 queries. It was well responded and the doubts were cleared to them. However, the program ended with a vote of thanks by the manager of Apex Bank, Dambuk. He thanked the esteemed guests who were presented and highlighted the facilities the Apex Bank is providing to its clients. The program concluded by 12:40 noon with a highlighting talk on Childline Roing and the services they provide with a toll free number 1098.
The program successfully ended and everyone greeted each other with joy and wishes.
