The weeklong celebration of Childline Se Dosti week through colourful dances, songs & speech by Childline here with active participation of children concluded here on Friday.
The evening program began with welcome address cum awareness on Childline (1098, an emergency service) director R K Paul Chawang highlighted its services for children in need of special care and protection under Juvenile Justice Act, 2015. He also highlighted various activities and number of cases handled by till date.
Students’ leaders, including All Idu Mishmi Students’ Union advisor Azad Mikhu were present when local singer Nehru Umpo thrilled all by his special number.
Azad lauded good works of Childline in helping children in need and assured to collaborate with AMYAA and Childline for betterment of the society. The event concluded with signatures on Childline Se Dosti chart by participants.
