CHILDLINE Roing celebrated Holi at CHILDLINE Office Mayu-I, Roing. Children came dressed with different cultural attires. Irrespective of tribe and religion Children enjoyed the festival with colours and laughter. Keeping in mind the theme of the day “Save Mother Earth”, only dry organic colours were used, spreading the message of water conservation. Children applied colours to each other which shows the symbol of love. The team along with children made Rangoli and handprint on charts to mark the day. Snacks and sweets were distributed among the children. CHILDLINE Team informed the Children about the importance of the festival and said that the festival is celebrates the triumph of ‘good’ over ‘evil’. CHILDLINE team also said that Holi helps to bring the society together and strengthen the secular fabric of our country as the festival is celebrated by non-Hindus also.
