25th March, 2018: A day Orientation Program was conducted by AMYAA NGO for the Teachers of Twinkle Day Care Centre (TDCC) Teachers. The TDCC is owned by Smt Seema Linggi and located at Mayu-II (Kera-ati) Village, Roing of Lower Dibang Valley District, Arunachal Pradesh. The Day’s program was facilitated by R. K. Paul Chawang, Secretary as the resource person. The teachers were oriented on “to be a facilitator more than a teacher”, “importance of physical activities for kids of 2-6 of ages based StartSmart@School Hongkong”, “Learn the best teaching methods and techniques by Kimberly Pendergrass”, “10 expert tricks for managing your preschool classroom”, and “preparing kids with 21st century skills”.
The day program has been to make the teachers understand themselves, their role as educators, knowing their target groups and the need to equip themselves the necessary knowledge and skills to be effective facilitators of the 21st Century.
